Lead Solution Architect

In this role, you will drive architectural design, governance, and rollout delivery for complex ecommerce order‑management transformations across multiple regions. You will assess current OMS landscapes, guide replatforming initiatives, and oversee the design of scalable integrations across commerce, marketplace, logistics, and customer‑service domains. The position requires deep hands‑on expertise in OMS technology, cloud architecture, and enterprise integration standards.ResponsibilitiesLead OMS architecture design and oversee solution development for multi‑region commerce platformsConduct system assessments and define target architecture and transformation roadmapsDesign scalable order‑management flows covering order lifecycle, fulfillment, returns, and refund processesIntegrate OMS solutions with commerce platforms, payment gateways, and third‑party logistics systemsDefine technical standards, data flows, and integration patterns across multiple backend and service layersCollaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to align delivery timelines and prioritiesEstablish governance frameworks ensuring compliance, scalability, and business continuityGuide regional migration and rollout strategies, enabling smooth transitions and minimal disruptionProvide architectural mentorship to development leads and ensure adherence to design principlesReview solution design documentation, technical debt, and performance optimization outcomesRequirements10+ years’ experience in enterprise architecture and software delivery, with direct OMS exposureStrong knowledge of ecommerce ecosystems, order orchestration, and fulfillment designExperience integrating OMS with commerce platforms, warehouse, logistics, and marketplace systemsSolid understanding of APIs, microservices, event‑driven architecture, and cloud platformsExperience leading multi‑region rollout projects with phased go‑live and migration planningKnowledge of replatforming architecture, performance scaling, and resilience patternsProven experience establishing architecture governance and stakeholder alignmentExcellent system‑design documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skillsStrong communication ability with both technical and non‑technical stakeholdersBachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplineNice to haveExperience with Fluent OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or equivalent order‑management solutionsHands‑on knowledge of tax, invoice, and customer communication flows in enterprise commerceFamiliarity with cloud‑native architecture, Kubernetes, and API‑gateway designsUnderstanding of marketplace orchestration and inventory management patternsPrior experience leading distributed teams through large vendor‑transition programsWe offerCompetitive compensation depending on experience and skillsVariety of projects within one companyBeing a part of a project following engineering excellence standardsIndividual career path and professional growth opportunitiesInternal events and communitiesFlexible work hours
