Platform Engineer

Location: 100% Remote (must be based in Portugal)

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to design, build and support development, testing and production environments, and to make software delivery smooth and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, support and maintain development, testing and production environments

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment and environment issues

- Develop and maintain automated deployment and release processes

- Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management practices

- Plan, coordinate and execute application releases and production deployments

- Work with Development, QA and Operations teams to ensure efficient delivery

- Monitor system performance, reliability and availability, and drive continuous improvement

- Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience

- Hands‑on experience with AWS Cloud services

- Strong knowledge of Docker and containerisation

- Configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet)

- Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines

- Git and source code management best practices

- Linux administration and scripting

- Experience with release management and production deployments

- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

- Terraform or similar IaC tools

Languages

English (minimum B2)
