Senior devops engineer

Are you an experienced Dev Ops Engineer passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, reliability, and building scalable production environments?

We're looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join an international technology environment and play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure . You'll work closely with development and infrastructure teams, taking ownership of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes while promoting modern Dev Ops, Git Ops, Infrastructure as Code, and automation practices . This is a 100% remote position , but candidates must be based and reside in Portugal . Fluency in either French or English is required for this position.

Previous experience in the betting, i Gaming, or online gambling industry is highly valued and considered an important requirement for this opportunity. Due to the project timeline, candidates should ideally have a notice period of less than 30 days .

What You'll Be Doing:

Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, and/or Jenkins . Provision, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform , following Infrastructure as Code best practices. Work with key AWS services, particularly EC2, EKS, and RDS . Manage containerized applications and environments using Docker and Kubernetes . Manage Git Ops deployments with Argo CD , including application definitions and environment configurations.

Automate build, testing, deployment, and infrastructure processes across multiple environments. Design and implement zero-downtime deployment strategies to ensure high availability. Set up and maintain monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions . Contribute to incident management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production environments. Apply Dev Sec Ops best practices , integrating security and compliance throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Support development teams in adopting Dev Ops, automation, and cloud best practices . Create and maintain clear technical and operational documentation .

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of professional experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a similar position. Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. Solid experience with AWS , particularly EC2, EKS, and RDS . Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes . Experience managing and supporting high-availability production environments . Good understanding of Git Ops and automated deployment practices . Previous professional experience within betting, i Gaming, online gambling, or similar high-transaction environments . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with development, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams . Fluency in French OR English . Availability to start with a notice period of less than 30 days .

Nice to Have:

Hands-on experience with Argo CD . Knowledge of SRE practices , including reliability indicators, monitoring, and incident management. Experience with Dev Sec Ops and security/compliance requirements . Scripting skills with Python and/or Bash . AWS certifications , such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Dev Ops Engineer. Experience working with high-volume, real-time, or highly transactional platforms . Strong experience with continuous delivery and automation practices .
