Responsibilities:

Building, configuring, and deploying Web applications and services in cloud and on-premises environments

Integrating various services (databases, storage, APIs) into web applications

Automating processes and optimizing workflows using CI/CD pipelines

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment

Monitoring and troubleshooting OpenShift environments, ensuring high availability and scalability

Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure management tools to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and security

Staying up to date on emerging DevOps trends, technologies, and tools

Working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers

Active participation in scrum engagements

You must have:

You have an educational background as Software Engineer or similar, combined with a thorough knowledge of Backend software development

5+ years’ experience in DevOps or similar role

Strong understanding of and experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux

Hands-on experience of Linux environment and networking

Experience with automation: Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible

Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise infrastructure

Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, software defined networks, software defined storage)

Understanding of distributed systems and web architectures design principles

Good experience of working with CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab for automated deployments

Familiar or experience with agile development methodology

Good communication and analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory

Portuguese residency and eligibility to work in Portugal.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, both in Portuguese and English

Availability to go to the office once or twice per week, in Lisbon.
