Execute service work with low to medium complexity (maintenance and repairs), according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB processes, quality standards and safety guidelines.
Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers.
Working in close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB.
Your responsibilities Applying safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities, reporting unsafe practices and incidents.
Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation, ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experiences.
Clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in the direct area of responsibility.
Performing entry level service tasks, conducting maintenance and repairs, identifying technical problems, and analyzing them on workshop or on-site, and troubleshooting simple equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
Preparing material and tool lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts and tools are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities.
Identifying potential equipment failures and taking corrective actions.
Reporting work done in a timely manner and following up when needed.
Proactively executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and on quality.
Your background Master or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Technical interest, understanding, flexible and service minded.
Ability to perform under pressure and short deadlines, results orientation, good communication skills, with maximum integrity, professionalism, teamwork and collaboration.
High level of Portuguese and good command of English.
Driving license type B (car).
Availability to travel throughout Portugal.
Good skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc…).
