Junior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal. As a junior developer, you will work under the guidance of senior developers and gain valuable hands‑on experience in developing and maintaining software applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a student with a passion for coding to kickstart their career in the tech industry.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain software applications

- Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code

- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding practices

- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)

- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++

- Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

- Proficient problem‑solving skills

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail

Salary: $1700/month (with accommodation)

Location: Funchal, Portugal

Note: This position is open to both national and international candidates.
