Senior Java Engineer – Agentic AI

- Location: hybrid in Lisbon with 1 day a week in the office

Job Description

The project focuses on bringing an automotive OEM data pipeline into production and scaling it. It involves ingesting data from multiple sources and formats, standardising and mapping it to client entities, and distributing it to downstream systems such as e-commerce, bookings, fleet management, and operations.

It is a data-intensive environment where data quality is more critical than latency.

Requirements

- Proven agentic engineering experience, including configuring AI coding environments (rules, skills, instruction files) and orchestrating multiple agents.

- Java 17+ backend development; Java 21/25 preferred. Hands-on experience with records, sealed classes and virtual threads.

- Microservices & event-driven architecture, using Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Spring / Spring Boot.
