Software Quality Engineer (Manual)

Your responsibilities
We are looking for a proactive Software Quality Engineer (F/M/D), who will be responsible for the manual testing of our software in both the pre- and post-release stages of the development lifecycle, by looking for problems and bugs in the system that users may encounter, help developers find solutions to the issues, and is curious about learning test automation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Execute manual testing, including usability testing
Extend and maintain our testing infrastructure
Write, manage and execute manual test cases and analyze results
Register defects, handle the release process, report defects in Jira by fully documenting the behaviour and providing troubleshooting info to the developers
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Review and analyze user stories and product system specifications
Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Your profile
More than 5 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Experience in QA methodology
Ability to document and fully technically troubleshoot errors, reading logs, console errors and network responses
Experience with creating test cases and executing regression testing
Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. TestRail) and workflow management tools (Jira)
Familiarity with Agile frameworks is a plus
Experience with security, load testing and grey box testing is a plus
Previous experience with test automation (Python, Selenium) is a plus
Proactivity in understanding our software and how things work
Attention to detail, analytical mind and problem-solving attitude
Strong organizational and communication skills
Fluent English
