DBA ORACLE

- Between 3-6 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA).

- Solid experience with Oracle Database 19c.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and Single Instance environments.

- Solid experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).

- Solid experience with Oracle Data Guard.

- Strong experience in database troubleshooting, debugging and incident resolution.

- Experience with database and SQL performance optimization.

- Experience developing scripts and automation solutions for database administration.

- Experience working with ticketing systems.

- Knowledge of MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB is a plus.

- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery and business continuity.

- English B2 or above — mandatory.

- DevOps mindset, with a focus on automation, scalability, performance and infrastructure reliability.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

- Ensure the stability, availability and operational maintenance of databases across production and non-production environments.

- Analyze and manage incidents, service requests and changes, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of database-related issues.

- Manage and implement database change requests.

- Monitor and optimize Oracle database and SQL performance.

- Develop scripts, automation and tooling to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual activities.

- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure proper monitoring and control of maintenance activities.

- Provide technical support to developers, application administrators and infrastructure teams.

- Participate in business projects involving the design and implementation of databases, including DBMS selection, data volume, architecture and high availability.

- Administer and maintain Oracle RAC and Single Instance environments.

- Manage backup, recovery and disaster recovery activities using technologies such as RMAN and Data Guard.

- Participate in business continuity and availability exercises.

- Ensure database security, performance, reliability and scalability.

- Maintain accurate operational documentation, including processes, workflows, procedures and technical tasks.

- Identify and implement opportunities for automation, continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with the Database team to improve infrastructure reliability and scalability.
