Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Almada. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends and insights that can be used to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

Collecting and organizing large sets of data from various sources

Performing data mining techniques such as clustering, regression analysis, and decision trees to identify patterns and trends

Utilizing statistical tools and methods to analyze the data

Creating reports and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide recommendations based on data analysis

Monitoring data quality and identifying areas for improvement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field

Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and visualization techniques

Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R

Familiarity with statistical tools such as SPSS or SAS

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner

This is a part-time position with a salary of $900 per month. Candidates must have a biometric passport allowing them to work legally in Almada without requiring accommodation.
