We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Game Developer to join our team in Funchal. As a game developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing video games for various platforms. Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop game concepts

Create detailed design documents outlining gameplay mechanics, features, and levels

Write and debug code to implement game mechanics and features

Test and optimize games for performance, usability, and player experience

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game development techniques

Assist with the integration of artwork, sound effects, and music into the games

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java

Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine

Passion for playing video games and understanding of game design principles

Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from senior developers

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
