Junior Game Developer

We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Junior Game Developer in Porto, Portugal. As a game developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of new video games from conception to release. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1100 per month.

Requirements

Strong passion for gaming and game development

Degree or certification in computer science, game design, or related field (preferred)

Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python

Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal

Experience with 2D and 3D design software

Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop new game ideas

Assist in coding and programming game mechanics, features, and functionalities

Create and implement assets such as characters, environments, and animations

Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure quality gameplay experience

Continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies and techniques in game development

As a junior game developer without experience, this role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow their skills while gaining practical experience in the industry.
