Systems Engineer - Hardware

We’re looking for people with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow. You will beensuring the timely production of engineering deliverables for one or several assigned C&I projects, contributing to the financial success of this organisational unit, as well as optimising technical solutions and improving customer satisfaction. You will be required to carry out system engineering functions, either individually or part of a team of engineers. You will be travelling to United Kingdom and Ireland frequently to work at Customer Sites with your team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Hardware basic and detail design and expediting cabinet manufacture
Performing design reviews (internal/external) and deriving corrective measures if necessary
Testing & implementing the approved solutions
Commissioning of solutions that have been realised and producing any necessary reports
Training of in-house and customer personnel as required
Joining technical system implementation / clarification meetings (internal and with customer)
Work planning to ensure fulfilment of our contract obligations
Hardware selection and configuration
PLC/SCADA or DCS Automation and System cabinet design
Preparing power wiring drawings, loop drawings and termination schedules
Preparing earthing and shielding concepts
· Preparing cabinet power consumption and heat dissipation calculations
What You Bring
You have successfully completed a technical degree: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Automation, Control Engineering or similar
Experience in industrial/power station control systems commissioning/setup/service - fresh graduates with relevant internship or apprenticeship experience are also welcome
Experience with Omnivise T3000 or PCS7 or similar DCS system will be strong advantage
Using design tools such as COMOS or EPLAN would be advantageous but not essential
English Language skills – spoken/listening, writing/reading (technical documentation, manuals etc.)
Good communication skills, good relationship building with internal and external partners
Self motivated, independent, self-study
Driving license
You are willing to travel UK and Ireland (up to approx. 70%)
