Junior Android Developer We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon. As a Junior Android Developer, you will work closely with our senior developers to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge mobile applications for our clients. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month, and we also provide a free visa and ticket for non-natives. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about Android development and looking to gain valuable experience in the field. Please note that this is an entry-level position, so previous work experience is not required. However, if you have any personal projects or contributions to open-source projects that you would like to showcase, please include them in your application.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop high-quality mobile applications for Android devices

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices

Continuously improve and optimize existing codebase

Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise

Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in Android development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Strong knowledge of Java programming language

Familiarity with the Android SDK and different versions of Android OS

Experience with RESTful APIs integration

Basic understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile applications

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Passion for learning new technologies and keeping up with industry developments

Bonus skills

Experience with Kotlin programming language

Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
