For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

- 7+ years of experience as a Java Back-End Developer, building and maintaining enterprise applications with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and REST APIs

- Strong experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures, including messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

- Solid background working with relational and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, and contract testing)

- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to support code quality, testing, documentation, and productivity

- Experience with Git and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

- Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Fluency in English (B2); German language skills are a plus

- Availability for hybrid work (1x/week onsite in Lisbon) based in Portugal (candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit).
