Data Mining Analyst

Profession Data Mining City Faro Portugal. As a Data Mining Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can be used to inform business decisions. You will work with various data sources and use specialized software and tools to extract clean and organize data. This role requires strong analytical skills, critical thinking and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting data mining activities using various techniques such as clustering classification association rule mining

Identifying patterns and trends in data sets to provide insights for business decision-making

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data mining strategies

Extracting and cleaning data from multiple sources using specialized software

Applying statistical methods to analyze data and present findings in a clear and concise manner

Developing reports and visualizations to communicate results to stakeholders

Continuously monitoring data quality and identifying areas for improvement

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field

Strong understanding of data mining principles and techniques

Proficiency in SQL or other programming languages for querying databases

Experience working with large datasets using tools such as R or Python

Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems

Attention to detail and the ability to work with large amounts of data accurately

Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders

Salary

1200$ per month

Location

This is a full-time position located in Faro Portugal. However remote work options may be available.
