Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in React.js and Node.js to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications in an Agile environment. This role is suited to someone with solid software development experience, strong code quality standards, and the ability to work across frontend and backend technologies while ensuring performance, maintainability, and security.

Candidates must be based in Portugal, with the role available in Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra under an on-site/hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React.js and Node.js.

Build scalable frontend and backend solutions in an Agile delivery environment.

Develop and integrate REST APIs.

Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD practices.

Use AI-assisted development tools to support code generation, testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and productivity improvement.

Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, maintainability, and security.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

3+ years of software development experience.

Strong hands-on experience with React.js.

Experience with Node.js, including Express.js or NestJS.

Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.

Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

Experience writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.

Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

English level C1 is mandatory.

Candidates must be living in Portugal.

GenAI Experience

Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as:

Cursor AI.

Similar GenAI coding assistants.

Candidates should be able to use GenAI tools for code generation, testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and productivity improvement while maintaining high code quality standards.

Nice to Have

Experience with AWS or Azure.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Understanding of DevSecOps practices.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving skills.

Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Salary & Benefits

Gross annual salary: €25,000–€30,000, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
