Junior Android Developer

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our team in Lisbon. As a Junior Android Developer you will work closely with our senior developers to develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about mobile development and eager to learn and grow in their career.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and test new features for Android applications

- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to ensure they are functioning properly

- Write clean efficient and maintainable code following industry best practices

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality

- Work closely with designers to ensure the user interface is visually appealing and user-friendly

- Assist in project planning estimation and prioritization of tasks

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages

- Strong understanding of the Android SDK different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes

- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs

- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts

- Familiarity with AgileScrum methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience developing Android applications personal projects or professional

- Understanding of software development lifecycle from concept through deployment

- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs and JSONXML formats

- Basic understanding of UIUX design principles

Salary 1200$ per month negotiable based on experience

Location Lisbon remote work options available
