Junior Android Developer

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our team in Lisbon. As a Junior Android Developer you will work closely with our senior developers to develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about mobile development and eager to learn and grow in their career.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and test new features for Android applications

Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to ensure they are functioning properly

Write clean efficient and maintainable code following industry best practices

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality

Work closely with designers to ensure the user interface is visually appealing and user-friendly

Assist in project planning estimation and prioritization of tasks

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages

Strong understanding of the Android SDK different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes

Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs

Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts

Familiarity with AgileScrum methodologies

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience developing Android applications personal projects or professional

Understanding of software development lifecycle from concept through deployment

Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs and JSONXML formats

Basic understanding of UIUX design principles

Salary 1200$ per month negotiable based on experience

Location Lisbon remote work options available
