Junior Android Developer

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Junior Android Developer to join our growing team in Almada.

As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. This is a full-time position with salary starting at $1500 per month.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features for our Android applications

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices

- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure smooth functioning of the apps

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the mobile development industry

- Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages

- Experience with Android SDK and third-party libraries

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred

- Prior experience developing mobile applications for Android platform (personal projects or internships)

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs integration

- Understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile design

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
