Backend Engineer – c#

You will architect and build a high-performance Data Service Layer and API-first adapters that seamlessly unify heavy enterprise IT systems and legacy calculation engines into a centralized platform. You will have a direct impact on defining a Canonical Product Data Model and designing a resilient and modern backend.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and maintain decoupled, high-performance microservices and orchestration layers using C# and the .NET / ASP.NET Core ecosystem.

Implement a robust, high-performance Data Service Layer designed to process intensive mathematical calculations using asynchronous, concurrent, and parallel processing patterns without blocking application flow.

Build clean data mapping adapters to translate fragmented, legacy enterprise data structures into a unified Canonical Product Data Model.

Manage asynchronous enterprise data streaming across the platform and downstream data warehouses using message hubs such as Azure Event Hubs or Kafka

Coordinate native connectivity and enterprise-grade data exchange with heavy background systems, including SAP ERP (ECC, S/4HANA) and Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Apply strict backend engineering best practices in static typing, clean code, design patterns, automated unit and integration testing, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

Support containerization and cloud-native deployment workflows using Docker and Kubernetes

Your Skills and Experiences:

Solid, production-proven experience in backend software development using C# and the .NET ecosystem, particularly ASP.NET Core and .NET Web APIs.

Advanced expertise designing secure, enterprise-grade APIs using RESTful patterns and/or GraphQL.

Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, parallel processing, and multi-threading, with experience optimizing CPU-intensive algorithms and complex calculation workloads.

Hands-on experience building system-to-system integration adapters, data transformation pipelines, and event-driven architectures.

Strong practical knowledge of relational databases and document-oriented systems such as MongoDB.

Familiarity with enterprise IT landscape

Exposure to SAP ecosystems or heavy-industry calculation pipelines is a major advantage.

Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with an autonomous and problem-solving mindset.
