The Role: Senior Java Developer + Spark

Work Model: hybrid - 2/3 days a week in the office

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

+8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development, including Java/J2EE 9.

At least 1 year of experience in Apache Spark development, with hands‑on experience in Spark.

Experience with Spring / Spring MVC and Spring Boot .

Experience with SQL, including Transactional SQL / Spark SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle ExaCC, and SQL Server.

Strong experience with and Cloud‑native applications.

Experience with CI/CD tooling, including Maven, GitLab, ArgoCD, and Liquibase.

Nice to have:

Experience with Argo Workflow .

Experience with GitHub Copilot Agents .

French B2

Responsibilities:

Work as a Java Developer, contributing to the conception and development of Data Processing applications executed in Batch mode using Spark.

Develop solutions using Java/J2EE and Apache Spark .

Design solutions using proven patterns, with awareness of anti‑patterns and performance tuning .

Work with SQL, relational databases, Docker/Kubernetes, object storage such as S3, and CI/CD tooling
