Senior Java Developer

Senior Java Developer , you’ll join a

collaborative and forward-thinking tech team , shaping

scalable solutions that empower millions of adventurers .

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications in Java, with a focus on Spring Boot.

Implement efficient and secure RESTful APIs.

Work with relational databases (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (Cassandra and/or MongoDB).

Integrate and optimise persistence solutions using Hibernate.

Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito and/or GUnit).

Participate in defining architectures and good development practices.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of end-to-end solutions.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker and AWS.

Work in cloud environments with AWS, including deployment, monitoring, and service management.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Java backend development .

Proficiency in

Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST API .

Solid experience with

MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra and/or MongoDB .

Familiarized with

AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.) .

Experience using

Docker .

Experience with

Mockito, JUnit and/or GUnit .

At least B2 level of English.

Based in Portugal.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
