Application Production Support Engineer

to join an international team supporting business-critical Wealth Management applications in a 24/7 production environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex production issues, driving automation, and working with modern cloud-native technologies.

What you’ll do

Provide

L2/L3 Application Production Support

for critical applications and platforms.

Monitor production environments and investigate incidents to ensure high availability and service reliability.

Analyse application, middleware, and system logs to identify and resolve issues.

Build and maintain

Ansible playbooks

and

Terraform

scripts to automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning.

Support and mentor team members on automation technologies, including Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.

Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises, production releases, and knowledge transfer sessions.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce incident resolution times and improve service quality.

Collaborate closely with Development, Infrastructure, and global Operations teams.

What we’re looking for

5+ years of experience in

Application Production Support ,

IT Operations , or

Software Engineering .

Strong experience with:

Ansible

Terraform

Docker

Python and/or Bash scripting

Jenkins or other CI tools

Experience with cloud platforms such as

AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or Google Cloud .

Knowledge of

ITIL

practices and production support processes.

Experience working in mission-critical production environments.

Nice to have

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible (RH294)

Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (DO374)

HashiCorp Terraform Associate

HashiCorp Vault Associate

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

Continuous learning mindset and willingness to develop new skills

Additional information

This role is part of a

24/7 production support team , including shift work, on-call rotations, weekends, and public holidays.
