ROLE & TEAMWe are currently looking for a Revenue Specialist who will ensure that the pricing of our units in the Iberic region is in line with the company strategy, that targets in the budget are met, and that revenue KPIs are tracked, reported, and achieved. The role requires anticipating peaks and troughs in the market and pricing the properties accordingly. We would prefer the person to be based in Lisbon, but we're open to consider applicants who're based in Madrid too. Here below are some examples of your core activities:Design, apply and monitor the pricing strategy of the Short Term business unit. Define, monitor and report the relevant KPIs for the industry and respective values for our units. Provide income projections for predefined time horizons, for new business opportunities, like new markets or new products. Analyze sales data, booking patterns and market trends, competitor performance, margins and market share to forecast and make recommendations. Work closely with Sales managers in the local office to boost sales and profitability. Work closely with the financial managers, and monitor budgets, forecasts, P&L, and financial results. Work closely with Reservations and Account management teams to maximize the revenue outcome. Design business processes in the relevant scope of activity and keep them formalized in SOP. Advise property owners on
- related inquiries. Explore new business opportunities, like booking channels, additional services, business tools etc, to maximize revenue and opportunities. Create and deliver reports, analyses, and relevant support materials to management, regularly and upon request. Lead a team, train, mentor, and support team members and develop their potential. Keep close relations with third parties, like account managers of booking platforms. Work closely with the central corporate booking team to implement a
- term sales strategy in a dedicated portfolio. Perform also other tasks, assigned by line manager or senior colleagues. What you'll need to be successful in this role
You preferrably have studied business, economics or a quantitative field
You have experience in working with and interpreting data and analytics
You have a minimum of 2 years revenue management experience
Experience in corporate distribution/quoting/enquiring/sales will be considered a plus
You are fluent in English (C1) and in Portuguese (B2). Fluency in Spanish will be considered a plus.
